Full Time Cashier

Job Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualities:
Friendly and Approachable: As a cashier at Vic's Market, you will be the face of our store. We place great importance on providing exceptional customer service, so a friendly and welcoming personality is a must!
Effective Communicator: Good communication skills are key as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis. Whether it's answering questions, providing directions, or handling customer concerns, being able to communicate clearly and efficiently is essential.
Proficient in Point of Sale (POS) Systems: Experience with a point of sale system is preferred. However, if you are a fast learner with a knack for technical systems, we will provide training. Demonstrating proficiency in handling transactions accurately and efficiently is crucial.
Ability to Work Quickly and Efficiently: As a cashier, you will handle a significant amount of transactions, and time management is crucial. We are looking for candidates who can work efficiently, handle a fast-paced environment, and still provide excellent customer service.
Team Player: At Vic's Market, we believe in the strength of our team. We are looking for individuals who are excited to collaborate, support their colleagues, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Other duties as required: When there are no customers and the store is quiet you will be required to assist with stocking and fronting shelves, unloading products, cleaning and any other tasks that are required.
You must be able to lift 30 lbs or more and be on your feet for long periods of time.

At Vic’s Market, we have an exciting job opportunity available for a Butcher/Kitchen Position.
Working in our grocery store kitchen is a dynamic and rewarding experience. As a team member in our kitchen you will have the chance to showcase your skills and create delicious meals for our customers. From different cuts of meats to assisting in the making of our legendary chicken fingers and pot pies, you will play a vital role in satisfying the appetites of our shoppers.
In addition to your culinary expertise, this position allows you to interact with customers, offering personalized recommendations and providing exceptional customer service.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

- can identify types of meats and have experience in butchering techniques
Butcher or Kitchen experience is not required but absolutely considered an asset.
